Famous People With Dyslexia

collage 3

Sit back… relax and be inspired by this video, which highlights the struggles and successes of ordinary people with learning difficulties who went on to become world famous.

The only thing that holds struggling learners back when it comes to reaching their goals in life, is low levels of self-belief.

School can be tough, but children must endeavour to do their best and get through the system, because outside school is where all the action happens.

In the real world, they can play by their own rules, work hard and use their amazing creative strengths to reach for the stars.

Wishing you every success.

My grandson & I watched this clip together…he mainly wanted to see & listen to Will Smith! Our grandson does have a difficult time communicating with teachers & peers at school. He is in gr 8, happier than he was at primary school but still finds the whole environment difficult.

I really liked this clip but was disappointed that you had to read the information (did i not click on the correct button) dyslexic children often cant read that much information. It would be better if it was narrated .

I have often wondered WHY such a good source of information about dyslexia would create such a powerful video that required reading! This is a source of inspiration for dyslexic students and families, but my students struggle with it. I read it to them, but they want to read it to themselves! Please keep the content but either slow the text graphics or have a recognizable voice read this…Will Smith?? Thank you!!
